Ben & Aubrey played their US debut this past weekend in the Big Apple, New
York City. They opened for John Lardieri and Tripping Billies at the
Lion's Den in the West Village. Even though they played relatively early,
they still managed to bring out lots of people, many of whom have become
new fans. Ben & Aubrey played a quick, but full-energy set pulling out
old favorites and new tunes that will be on their new album, which they're
still working on. For the full setlist check out the Setlist section of
the site at: http://ben-aubrey.8m.com/setlists.html Ben & Aubrey would
like to thank the T.O. boys who came out: Zepp, Olch, Debbie, Abenshlong
and Sheldon. They would especially like to thank Beth Charpentier for
putting the whole thing together. top
After taking some time off to write new songs, Ben & Aubrey are ready to go into the studio for a second time to record the follow up to their debut album, Lost In Paradise. They will be trying out all new songs as well as some all new instruments including mandolin, bongos and harmonica on this album. What sets this album apart from Lost In Paradise, and many other albums for that matter, is that this will be FREE. Yup, you heard me! You won't have to pay a dime for this one. It will be available to download on the Ben & Aubrey webpage in MP3 and SHN format, at ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGE. All you have to do is make copies for your friends and, if it's still around, put it up on Napster! No word yet on what songs will be on the album, or what it will be called, but they are looking for an April release. Stay tuned for more info! top
